Chess Competition

The much anticipated and vigorously contested Chess competition final was held on March 18th

Vex Robotics Competition

There was great excietement during the build up to the Vex Robotics Competition which was held in CIT on the 6th of Feb.

Both 5th classes took part in the competition which involved, designing, building, programming and driving a robot. The pupils also had to undertake a STEM project based on any aspect of engineering.

The excitement on the day of the competition was electric as 18 schools gathered to show off their projects and to take part in competitions driving their robots.

We were thrilled to win the award for the best STEM project out of the18 participaqting schools.

Anseo a Mhúinteoir!

Well done to all of the 42 pupils who had a full attendance during the school year 2013-2014. They were presented with certificates after the Aifreann Tosach na Bliana on Sep 12th.

Cross Country Running.

Despite the very inclement weather, our running team had a very successful day on Oct 9th in Macroom. We had three winners and many pupils finished in the top 10 in very hotly contested races.
