Principal's Welcome

Scoil Bhailenóra is a Catholic co-educational primary school situated in the beautiful townland of Ballinora, close to the western suburbs of Cork City.

Our school has served the wider community of Ballinora/Waterfall for over 170 years. Children and staff come to school to learn, explore, create, grow and build. We treat each other with respect and celebrate the efforts each individual makes.  

Working with families and local community organisations, we strive to provide a joyous and productive learning environment for all our 296 pupils.

To mark the end of Literacy Lift-Off Initiative in Ms Walsh’s Rang 1, the children visited Ms O’Halloran’s Junior Infants to showcase their wonderful reading⭐️ This was a great opportunity to practise the skill of reading aloud. Great fun was had by all📚🐛

Rang a sé were treated to a pizza party today thanks to Brian from @doughjoespc🍕 This was to celebrate the boys recent success in the Sciath na Scol final and the girls hard work training all season too👏🏻
