Since the beginning of the school year, we have been focusing on the Frása na Seachtaine (Phrases of the Week) initiative. Each week, the whole school focuses on the same Irish phrase, allowing pupils to use it with peers from any class and with staff throughout the school. This consistent practice helps pupils build their Irish language skills and fosters a culture where Irish becomes a living language in our school.
To support parents, whether you are new to Irish or just looking to refresh your skills, the children have recorded the phrases to help with pronunciation. These recordings are available here, where you can also keep up to date with the latest frásaí. We invite you join in by using the frásaí at home and during school drop-offs and collections. Working together, we can bring Irish into everyday life.
