The Lucia tradition is an integral part of Swedish tradition. Emer brought her Swedish background to our classroom today by teaching us about this 400 year old custom which brings peaceful joy each year on December 13th. Today children brought in cookies baked from a traditional Swedish recipe. They were delicious. Maith sibh!
