We had a very special visitor recently! Hugh’s dad Donnacha came to school in his fire engine to show the children how it works.
This visit tied in perfectly with our Aistear theme, where the children have been learning all about fire safety, and the important role firemen and firewomen play in keeping us safe. The children asked great questions and even got a chance to explore the fire engine up close.
A huge thank you to Donnacha for taking the time to share his knowledge and bring such an exciting learning experience to our classroom!
